Stunning Ballina Wedding!

Photographer: Mark Capilitan
Couple: Emma & Bryan
Reception: Mount Falcon
Wedding ceremony: Ballina Cathedral

The day started with the girls getting ready in great time down the road from the church. All relaxed, hair done, makeup done, all that was left to do was get dressed & get a few quick bridal portraits. And after arriving at the church in Ballina town, I quickly shot Bryan & the guys then left them to continue greeting their guests. Following a beautiful ceremony in the cathedral it was onto Mount Falcon for the reception. I do love weddings where the commute between venues is short, it makes things much easier for everybody.

Mount Falcon is always nice to shoot a wedding at, as the grounds are fabulous and they have a lovely room which is great for doing family formals if it starts to spit with rain as it did on Saturday! And the food there is fantastic too, which thankfully I got to sample during the wedding meal when I was putting together a slideshow for after the speeches. Onto the speeches, and they were very good…emotional, funny, they had it all, including an unofficial biography of Bryan’s life too, which the bestman kindly shared a few chapters of!
