Debs

Thursday, Oct 30th, 2008 | Source: Life - Love - Lumi

It's that time of year. The Debs in Ireland is a celebration of school graduation, the average cost of a Debs per student is apparently in the region of 1000 euro per girl, less for the guys. So what makes up the 100 euro ? Stretch hummer, an overnight hotel stay, a reception at home before the Debs, hairdresser and make-up and of course the Dress and Shoes. Here's some ...

Although I promote environmental style portraits where we head to the beach or the park or your favourite location, I can also call to your home.I have a portable studio which can be set up in a few minutes at your home. This means we can still get some portraits whatever the weather outside.

David's photo shoot went really well today. He was so much fun to work with. I brought him to the local forest and let him do his own thing while I captured every moment on camera. David's book is in process. I've just started this project so it will be a week till I get the finished product.I wanted to capture David as he is, as you can see he's ...

Stockholm in August

Sunday, Aug 31st, 2008 | Source: Life - Love - Lumi

We went to Stockholm for a mid week break. It is our second visit to this lovely city only this time we had the girls with us. A visit to Junibacken, (a small fairy-tale world based mostly on Astrid Lundren's novels) was worthwhile and the old town Gamla stan has to be seen. The people we met were so friendly and the Swedes really are beautiful people. Here are a few ...

I had fun with Lorraine and her three great kids on Friday afternoon. We had a wander round the park playing hide and seek and I succeeded in tiring them out for their afternoon nap. Here are a few favourites.

Spring Weddings and the Wind

Tuesday, Apr 29th, 2008 | Source: Art and Soul

What a day it was! Sue and Eric were married on March 29th at St David's Church in Naas. I'dnever been to the church before and it is a little gem hidden behind the Main Street. It has a fabulous old tower at the doorway which made for some very interesting 'fish-eye' shots of the couple! With daffodils adorning the garden at the front it was a stunning location. Our ...

Seven Grandchildren

Thursday, Mar 27th, 2008 | Source: Art and Soul

Our largest group yet into the new studio in Kitchener was a treat - seven grandchildren from three different families.  Their mums decided to get them together as a surprise gift for the grandparents on their 50th wedding anniversary.  The shoot was a lot of fun - each of the children (although some are really young adults) had their own personality and we got lots of great shots of them ...

Still Winter in Ontario

Tuesday, Mar 25th, 2008 | Source: Art and Soul

Travelling over and back between Ireland and Ontario is a lot of fun. This time whilst Spring has arrived in Dublin, the snow is still falling constantly and winter seems never ending. It's been the longest winter in years with record snowfalls recorded. However, once there is a break in the storms, there are some amazing photo opportunities to be found in the surrounding area. All our shoots here have ...
