Posted on Monday, Apr 3rd, 2017 in IPWS_WedPic | Testimonials | Wedding Photography in Ireland | Working with Photographers by Alan Murphy | Add Comment

I love the way some clients can be so amazing in the way they support their wedding photographers - and it is great to see it in action. When I started a competition for Wedding Image of the Month I wasn't sure how it would work out - but it has gone from strength to strength.  The clever wedding photographers have not missed this - after all it is free to ...

Yvonne and David

Posted on Tuesday, Jan 10th, 2017 in Photographer Blogs | Wedding Photography in Ireland by guestpost Comments Off on Yvonne and David

Yvonne and David got married in Louth, with their reception at The Conyngham Arms Hotel in beautiful Slane, County Meath. They were set up by friends on a blind date! It was extra special for me because I went to school with Yvonne, we don’t get to see enough of each other anymore. It was great fun spending the day with her and David (who I hadn’t met ...

Posted on Thursday, Dec 15th, 2016 in Photographer Blogs | Wedding Photography in Ireland by guestpost Comments Off on Alternative Wedding? Fab Mount Druid Wedding

Mount Druid, Castletown Geoghegan, County Westmeath. Very ‘Alternative’ that’s for sure!   It took a while but eventually I got to photograph a wedding at this fantastic venue that I heard so much about and is only 30 mins from my house.  I got there very early so I could have a good look around,

Aisling and Trevor

Posted on Saturday, Dec 10th, 2016 in Photographer Blogs | Wedding Photography in Ireland by guestpost Comments Off on Aisling and Trevor

Aisling and Trevor were married in the stunning Markree Castle in Sligo. It was a fantastic Irish-American occasion. I had photographed Aisling’s brother’s wedding a few years ago so it was great to see everyone again. Poor Aisling had her leg in a cast on the day, but she managed to hobble down the aisle without her crutches. Her footwear was not quite the usual bridal choice.

A Bridal Room Fit for a Queen (there’s an old Telephone Box)

Posted on Friday, Sep 30th, 2016 in Photographer Blogs | Wedding Photography in Ireland by guestpost Comments Off on A Bridal Room Fit for a Queen (there’s an old Telephone Box)

Kelly and Shaun have some wedding cuddles in a telephone box 😉 When myself and the wedding videographer (in this case Gaffey Productions) turn up to a brides house we never really know what to expect. We need to get shots of the shoes, dress, flowers and so on. It’s usually organised chaos at the
